One of Schloegel Design Remodel’s best practices is to donate as much material from a job site as possible. Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore is the perfect partner for this practice. We donate cabinetry, lighting, fixtures, countertops . . . anything we can from each job. Before ReStore gave us this opportunity, all these materials would end up in a landfill.
Meghan Lynch, a Schloegel team member volunteers regularly at the ReStore located just down the street from our office. We’ve also had fun participating in their “Trash to Treasure” events at which our designers add creativity to turn old items into new treasures.
