1. Exhaust Fan
This will make sure all the humidity will leave the bathroom as quickly as possible, as well as reduce any odors in the room. The fan should be routed to vent through the roof for maximum efficiency. These can come in a variety of styles – some exhaust fans are even disguised as lighting fixtures to reduce the utilitarian look of the appliance.
2. Towel Warmer
OK, this one isn’t essential, but it’s so nice to have – especially in the winter! You can have a stand-alone towel bar that plugs in or have one installed on your wall. They come in all a wide variety of looks at nearly every price point, so having a warm towel ready for you after your shower can definitely be a reality!
3. Good Lighting
Lighting is an important element in every room, but especially in the bathroom. Given that the bathroom is where you likely get ready for the day, shave and clean up, you should have separate lighting appropriate for the bath/shower area, toilet and vanity.
