Schloegel Design Remodel is honored to be the recipient of the 2017 National Association of the Remodeling Industry’s (NARI) Peter H. Johnson Image Award. The Peter H. Johnson Image Award is open to all who contribute to the enhancement of the remodeling industry’s image.
NARI recognizes Schloegel for our Big Splash Custom Bath Giveaway and Ripple Effect bathroom makeover. The Big Splash has provided bathroom improvements for children with special needs which include handicap accessible fixtures and features, for the past seven years. Our 2016 recipient, Tristan, was born with Dwarfism and struggled with normal-sized bathroom appliance and fixtures. We were honored to help give Tristan a bathroom he’s easily able to use.
The Ripple Effect renovations are smaller bathroom remodeling projects also helping families with special needs. This year’s Ripple Effect recipient was a family with two children who’ve survived traumatic brain injuries. Gayle designed a zero-entry shower which provides the children more comfort and improves their safety.
