It’s wrap up week in Brook and Chad’s beautiful Prairie Village home. With just a few finishing touches, the project will be wrapped on time and under budget.
We began by finishing up the final coats of finish on the flooring. The dark color really warms up the space, and contrasts well with the white cabinets and teal backsplash. Also, staining was completed on the mantle above the fireplace.
Next up, we installed the new lighting fixtures above the new island. The homeowners picked a couple of really great orange lamps that really wow in contrast with the colors. They even accents the wallpaper in the new half-bath adjacent to the kitchen. The orange brings even more fun color into the room, perfect for a young family.
In the background of the photo, you’ll see one of the biggest additions to the space, a brand-new, stainless steel French-door refrigerator. Installed, of course, with care by the Schloegel team.
Now it is just a matter of cleaning up the space before the family can move back in!
