2009 REMY – Honorable Mention – Designs & Plans

The new expanded bathroom contains “his” and “her” vanities centered on the existing window with a cute built in bench below. A new spa-like shower is added complete with subway tile walls, a comfortable seat, shampoo and soap niches, rain-head and handshowers. A large under-mount tub with a wood paneled front to match the new vanity cabinetry was a must. Basket-weave mosaic floor was used with subway tile wainscot topped with a tile chair-rail surrounding the entire room. All horizontal surfaces including countertops, tub deck, shower curb, seat, and half walls received Carrere marble for the final elegant touch.
