We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday spending time with friends and family! The year has flown by and it’s hard to believe we have a few short days left. It’s fun to look back on the year and the many amazing remodeling projects that have been completed. So, this week we’re going to share a few of those fun projects.
Lee’s Summit Kitchen
The homeowner’s in this home needed more space. Not only were their cabinets and drawers overflowing but they were storing Tupperware containers in their basement. Their existing kitchen design just wasn’t working for them.
Nina Schmidt worked with the homeowners to create a new layout for their kitchen. The new design not only took advantage of all the unused wall space but opened up the room making the kitchen and dining area feel much larger.
The stunning new kitchen has beautiful white shaker cabinets with glass cabinet doors on the top. The marble backsplash is striking and the Thermador appliances are showpieces themselves.
Dark stained wood floors were also laid throughout the kitchen, dining area, and living room. They’re a great contrast to the white cabinets.
Leawood primaryBathroom
The primarybathroom in this Leawood home was cramped and awkwardly laid out. The homeowners were ready for a change, a true primarybathroom. Amy Boeshaar helped to completely redesign the space into a spa-like retreat.
The new layout really takes advantage of every square inch and made room for a full-sized bathtub as well as a beautiful glass shower. Additionally, the awesome trough sink provides double faucets without taking the space of two sinks. The reclaimed wood shelves add a touch of warmth to the space.
Brookside Express Custom Kitchen
The kitchen in this Brookside home was quite small and closed off. The homeowners wanted more space and an updated look. They worked with Ron Webster to create their dream kitchen.
The archway and wall to the breakfast nook were removed creating extra space for a new kitchen design. Removing the wall not only gave them more room but also allowed the window’s natural light to reach the entire kitchen. The new kitchen also boasts beautiful Dover color cabinets including a large new pantry. The fun Biltmore Tumbled 3×6 tiled backsplash adds beautiful serene colors while the open shelves are the perfect place to store cookbooks.
