We are so excited here at Schloegel Design Remodel for 2017, but before we dive into what’s in store, let’s take a look at a few standout projects from 2016.
Desoto Outdoor Oasis
Projects as large as this outdoor kitchen and patio don’t come around frequently, but the Schloegel team was absolutely up to the challenge! Thanks to the dual-sided fireplace, guests can lounge on couches on one side of the fireplace, while the hosts, who are cooking fanatics, can be busy cooking on the other. Right next to the fireplace is a hog roasting pit, something Schloegel had never built before! The two-story stone and timber beams are breathtaking when lit with the 5-foot chandelier and 4-foot sconces. Plus, we’re sure that pool is going to be a huge hit next summer!
Traditional Kitchen Remodel
Now here’s a kitchen any cook would dream of! With plenty of workspace, two eating areas and an open floor plan, the homeowners now have plenty of space for entertaining family and friends. The attached pantry room and bathroom add even more functionality to the space, while the traditional design scheme keeps the room warm and inviting.

The small details make the this project shine. While the bathroom is monochromatic, it’s never boring thanks to the interesting tile patterns, beautiful window and door treatments and sleek features. With floor to ceiling book shelves and a comfortable reading space, the bedroom is now a cozy getaway anyone would enjoy.
