Construction is in full swing for our Big Splash recipients’ bathrooms!
We are thrilled that the bathroom for Kelvon Lewis is almost complete. The tile has been laid, the shower is in; we have only to install the vanity and expect that to be completed by the end of this week. Kelvon’s mom, Candita, is excited that very soon they will be able to move Kelvon downstairs, where he will have the space that he needs all on one floor and right off the garage for ease. We were humbled when Candita invited the design team to a thank you luncheon as a show of their appreciation, and presented us with “Kelvon’s Angel” key chains!
We have begun construction on Elizabeth Bird’s bathroom this week, and her family is excited as they are getting one step closer to helping Elizabeth achieve the independence she desires. We will post updates and pictures of the progress soon.
