A Contemporary Kitchen
We love a good transformation and this is a fantastic one! Before the kitchen felt dated and not fully functional. Now, the kitchen feels clean and fresh and is much more functional. The updated peninsula is one level and houses the convection cooktop.
Notice the Zephyr range hood above the cooktop? It’s ideal for this kitchen’s design as it doesn’t obstruct the view across the peninsula and handles smoke seamlessly. In fact, our homeowner put it to the test shortly after the kitchen was completed. She cooked a curry type dish that would normally have lingering smells but the vent handled it easily and their home smelled just as good after their meal as it did before.
Cabinets & Counters
Extending the cabinets to the ceiling and removing the desk allowed for more storage. The cabinets next to the French door fridge house a coffee station and also provide additional storage.
The contemporary style Eclipse frameless cabinets instantly update the entire kitchen. The countertops are Cambria Berwyn counters. And the counters themselves are at a new shorter height as our homeowner wanted to be able to comfortably cook whilte using her counter space. Ron utilized all the space including the other side of the peninsula, by adding shelves perfect for cookbooks and displaying art.
Our homeowners enjoy cooking and appliance selection was extremely important to them. They selected a Wolf induction cooktop and wall oven as well as a Bosch steam wall oven, warming drawer, and dishwasher.
Great job Ron and Kyle creating a fresh, functional and beautiful contemporary kitchen! The homeowners love it and couldn’t be happier, their only complaint, “We wish we would have done this sooner.”
