  • Do You Need a New Kitchen?

Last updated on September 22, 2023

So, your kitchen is falling apart. The cabinet doors keep coming lose, floor tiles are cracked and your countertop has seen better days. Sound familiar? Perhaps you’ve just started thinking about a kitchen remodel or have been putting it off for years but the time has finally come. You need a new kitchen.

Yes, a kitchen remodel can seem like a daunting process but it doesn’t have to be. Imagine working with an experienced designer to help create the kitchen of your dreams. Then take that one step further and imagine that kitchen being completed within a month and sticking to your budget. Does it sound too good to be true? It’s not! It can be done with a Schloegel Express Custom Kitchen.

What is an Express Custom Kitchen?

A Schloegel Express Custom Kitchen is simply a kitchen remodel with no major modifications to any walls, windows or doors. Sometimes as you go through the design process you find that you may need an appliance or wall moved. That’s ok, Schloegel calls those projects Express Plus and you’ll work through those needs during the design phase of your kitchen remodeling project.

Express Remodeled Kitchen

Ron Webster recently worked with homeowners on a Brookside Express Custom Kitchen Plus remodel to create their perfect kitchen. The construction was completed in a month in a half. In Ron’s design, the powder bathroom and laundry were relocated to give the kitchen greater space and function.

The new kitchen turned out beautiful and is much more functional for the homeowners. The soffit was removed and the new white cabinets were brought up to the ceiling. Bringing cabinets to the ceiling not only allows for larger upper cabinets but provides more counter workspace below the cabinets.

Ron added a built-in microwave and bar area into the area previously used for the refrigerator utilizing all the space in the kitchen. New hardwoods were laid to match the character of the Brookside home. Additionally, the kitchen has beautiful quartz cabinets and brush nickel hardware. The homeowner selected the black chevron backsplash behind the stove and it creates a unique focal point in the kitchen.
