A Summer Bathroom & Closet Remodel, Part 3

Framing and Rough In Has Begun in This Lee’s Summit Home

Our clients Dan and Christine, wanted a new look for their primaryBath and closet. Follow along with our progress!

Framing has begun! We are relocating both the entry to the bath and the entry to the closet to accommodate space for the new location of the shower, stool room, and vanity area. Much of the subflooring has been removed to run drains for all the new fixture locations. We have also removed the glass block window over the tub and have framed in a shorter window for this new shower area.

We are also framing for a new dividing wall that will separate the stool room and shower and will also serve as the new wall for the vanity areas. This wall cannot go into place until we have inspection on all the plumbing and replace the subfloor. The wall has a lot going on in it, with the plumbing valves on the shower side and junction boxes for lighting on the front side. We are excited to learn that we passed inspection and are ready to move forward!

This project will take approximately 8 weeks to complete, and we will continue to share photos and the inspirations for materials and layout throughout our progress on Houzz. We are excited for you to follow along and invite you to ask questions or offer your comments as we transform these rooms into the spaces our clients desire!
