This week the Schloegel team starts putting the home back together. They begin the framing, window installation, HVAC installation, plumbing and electrical. It’s exciting to see the home take shape!

Framing

Just like there was a lot of demolition on this project there is also a lot of framing or maybe because there was so much demolition there is so much framing. Regardless the team gets started. The team frames in the new additions including the roof. They also work on framing the home’s new layout.

The primarysuite encompasses one of the new additions. The former primarybedroom square footage is used for the new primarybathroom, primarycloset, and a hallway while the addition is the bedroom. All of this is framed.

Interior Framing

The spare bedroom’s closets, as well as the hall powder room, are framed. The new kitchen, dining area, butler’s pantry, storage area, mudroom, and the new addition family room are all framed as well.

Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing

While the Schloegel team tackles framing the Plumbing Plus, Envirotech Heating and Cooling and Jason Wright Electric teams start their portions of the project. As we had mentioned during demolition the electrical was completely removed from the home so the home will have all new electrical wiring.

Electrical

There is also plenty of plumbing work with the new kitchen and revised bathrooms.

Plumbing

The HVAC and ducts from the home were completely removed during the demolition and Envirotech Heating and Cooling is installing all new ducts as well as a new heater and air conditioner.

Window Installation

Don’t worry the fun didn’t stop with framing, electrical or plumbing! The team also worked on filling in the basement window and installing the home’s new windows.
