We often share the home’s layout and construction throughout a project but don’t always get into the design details. The Ward Parkway Renovation has so many amazing design details we’d be remiss not to share them. The homeowner, Jen, has a definite eye for design, and it has been so fun to see the design selections she’s made with Megan Bringman and Amy Boeshaar. This week we’ll take a closer look at the primary suite.

primaryBedroom
The new primarysuite encompasses one of the home’s new additions. The bedroom itself is the actual addition and the primarybathroom and closet are part of the home’s original footprint. There are not a ton of design elements in the bedroom itself but the selections the design team made make them count!
The roof on the addition has a higher elevation allowing for a beautiful vaulted ceiling in the bedroom. Adding beams to the ceiling takes the room from beautiful to stunning.
A classic lantern light fixture by Circa Lighting will complete the room.
The primarycloset is no afterthought. The large closet will have a built-in mirror with unique and beautiful sconces flanking each side.
primaryBathroom
Neutral colors and a mix of metals and tiles make the bathroom swoon-worthy. The Shiloh vanity will be painted a soft white and topped with beautiful Cambria Ella quartz counters. The sink faucets and shower fixtures are all Kohler Artifacts in polished nickel.
The floor tile will be Arabescato Carrara 12 x 24 laid in an offset brick pattern while the shower tile will also be Arabescato Carrara and cut to a custom size. The shower floor tile will be Divine Window Series in Gaelic Kirk, a fun pattern tile.
The bathroom, hallway, closet, and bedroom walls will be painted Benjamin Moore’s Athena, a timeless and elegant color.
Finally, the mirrors Jen chose are Restoration Hardware’s Traditional Wall Mirrors and the scones are by Circa Lighting.
The design choices will tie together perfectly in the Ward Parkway Renovation’s primarysuite and we can’t wait to see it complete!
