Lower Level Living Part 2

Last updated on January 1, 1970

Our clients remodel their lower levels for various reasons, whether it’s to create an in-home bowling alley, a walk-in cellar or just some extra cozy space for their family. In a previous post we showed you a basement transformation in which the homeowners came to Schloegel Design Remodel because they needed more space to spend time together as a family. They wanted to transform their L-shaped basement into a cozy living area that would include a game space, theatre, bonus room and bar. Here’s a look at their finished basement again.

Now, we would like to feature a different basement remodel in which creating a space to entertain guests was the number one goal.

Entertaining in this lower level bar area is so much fun with a two tiered island and lots of storage, including a place to show off specialty glassware. This avid KU fan now has a place to show off his memorabilia, including his collection of basketball jerseys and signed photos.

Stay tuned as we continue to share some amazing basement transformations that we’ve completed. We hope that these basement remodels inspire your own dream basement remodel plans.
