We recently completed a beautiful lower level remodel. Here are some before and during pictures, as well as an after picture, of how the lower level staircase entry has evolved. As you can see, a person would originally descend the staircase and walk a short hallway to the door into the basement. We eliminated that hallway and created a new opening at the stairs, giving us more general living space in the lower level. This change also better accents the curved wall in the lower level.
