  • Our 1960’s Remodel Continued – Hall Bath Overhaul

Last updated on January 1, 1970

As we make our way from the primarybathroom to the kitchen, we have one more stop on the remodeling tour of our 1964 home update.

The hall bathroom was updated to reflect a combination of classic and retro styles.  This was achieved, first, by the use of Carrera marble on the walls and floor.  The marble on the floor is a beautiful herringbone pattern and it is reflected in the 3” x 6” material installed in a brick pattern on the wainscot and tub walls.  Beautiful stone and glass mosaic accent tile lines the wainscot and tub walls.  A marble vanity countertop and a classic style vessel sink continue the “white marble” theme of this lavish bathroom.

The “floating” espresso stained vanity cabinet features accent toe kick lighting.  The lineal mirror and accent lighting provide the perfect finishing touches to this sumptuous bathroom.

Next stop—the kitchen!
