Donna Kirsopp, a design consultant for SDR, has a history in her field.

“My father was a home builder, remodeler and wood worker.  I developed an interest at a young age while building houses of Lincoln Logs and wooden boats in my dad’s garage.  My father always had a project and he didn’t discourage my interest in it.  I went to college and graduated with BFA in woodworking and furniture design. I have done custom woodworking and also worked as a carpenter for a remodeling company.  I have been a designer in the remodeling business since then and love what I do.  I always say I’ve learned the trade from the bottom up.”

“I have a 22 year old daughter and want her to be capable of tackling projects on her own or at least giving it a try.  This Memorial Day weekend, we succeeded in removing and replacing all the fascia board across the back of my house.  Colleen was using her Pap Pap’s own hammer! He would be proud of both of us.”
