Slate mosaic surrounds the fireplace with a Jura Grey limestone slab for the hearth.  Espresso stained Lyptus wood cabinetry in a simple shaker door style balances the fireplace accent wall with open bookcases and benches which extend wall-to-wall from both sides of the fireplace.  Engineered hickory hardwood flooring, in a wide plank and brushed finish, adds warmth to the room.  A distresses furniture style buffet in a moss green and brown glaze accommodates a beverage refrigerator.  Paint colors were selected to harmonize with the tile, as well as with the new furnishings and rugs.
