I was driving to work this morning when I came across a snowy, icy surprise. Kansas City had a light snowfall on Saturday night but all the homes, roads and trees are now clear of snow (as you can see from the trees in the background and the bit of the house next door that shows up in this picture). In fact, in this area of Kansas City, the snow does not even cover all the grass. Imagine my surprise when I came across this sight! I am probably the only person in town who missed the article in the newspaper about this home. Apparently a water main broke in front of the house and spewed water everywhere. It is so cold that everything froze.
