Recently, a group of KC NARI members held a “virtual shower” for The Children’s Place in Kansas City. Schloegel Design Remodel team members Debby Allmon, Megan Lynch and Donna Kirsopp were part of the planning and execution of this event and are pictured below with other NARI members who delivered the gifts on Friday, November 19th.</p.
Since 1978, The Children’s Place has been committed to meeting the developmental and mental health needs of the very youngest victims of child abuse, neglect and other trauma. Within the Kansas City community and beyond, the agency’s specialized expertise in working with traumatized young children has made The Children’s Place a recognized leader in the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect.
Kansas City NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) collected gifts and donations from the membership and delivered them to The Children’s Place. There were toys, diapers, clothes, items for teachers, and more – the kids loved it!
