It’s funny how much our design preferences have changed in the last 25 years. When this Leawood home was built in 1994 showers were something you threw into a corner or small space. The design emphasis was often on the jetted tub. Over and over again we see this.
A luxurious bathroom built in the 1980’s or 1990’s had to have a whirlpool tub. It was some sort of unwritten requirement. Fast forward to 2018, those same highly sought-after tubs are often an unused fixture, taking up precious space in bathrooms and homeowners cannot wait to get them out and reclaim the space.
We’re excited to share this 2017 Gold REMY winning bathroom remodel! The previous master bathroom in this Stillwell home wasn’t laid out well and felt more like 3 different rooms. Not only was it awkward but it was also in disrepair with a bad leak.
Schloegel Handyman Services are not just your average Handymen. Yes, they absolutely can do all of the standard handyman services such as installing an appliance, replacing windows or fixing a leaky faucet but they can also do so much more. Many homeowners are ready for a change in their bathroom but don’t need to do a full bathroom renovation.
We're always looking for next best thing, but more often than not the latest trends are simply old styles refreshed for modern aesthetics. This is just the case with many of 2017's bathroom design trends. Our designer Megan, who recently attended the Kohler Trends Workshop, is here to share some takeaways from the event.
