This complete, custom bathroom remodel was completed in 6 days in an 80+-year-old house. This is the second One-Week Bath bathroom we have completed for this homeowner.
Debby Allmon of SDR presents a check to Roxanne Hill, the Vice President of Development
for The Children's Place, an outlet for the youngest survivors of abuse, neglect and trauma.
Debby was the chairperson of this year's NARI Remodeled Homes tour. Proceeds from the tour were donated to the Children's Place.
Here's are a few updated before-and-after photos from the bathroom remodel mentioned in our May 3rd post, "A Troubled Tub."

Did you make resolutions this year? New resolutions are all about reaching a goal that effect you in the long run. A great way to invest in your future is to let a professional with the right experience, creativity, and professionalism to help you add more value to your biggest asset, your home.
There are a million different reasons to redesign a space. We recently read a blog that reminded us of one of the most common reasons: functionality. Does a wall in your home just not make sense to you? Or maybe a closet could be better placed somewhere else to open up a room.
When the Church of the Nativity called on Schloegel Design Remodel to construct a tabernacle for them, we were up for the challenge. Standing next to the new tabernacle is Gabe Chiu, one of our talented lead carpenters.
Gabe designed and built the tabernacle using quarter sawn oak to tie into the other wood present in the church.
Home renovation season is well underway, and if you haven’t voted in our poll about remodeling, now’s the time!
We’d love to hear more from our readers, so please put your vote in! We’ll announce the results and post a new poll soon.
Also, if there’s a poll question you’d like us to post, please let us know!
As adults, we understand all too well the importance of being Eco-friendly and environmentally conscious. Green living is a part of who we are and we are proud of it. In our many efforts to lead green lives we forget to actually teach our children the reasons behind our green methods and the importance of saving the earth.
